The Serbia Exhibition Center is one of the six key initiatives supported by China to build a community with a shared future between China and Serbia in the new era. It is also a major priority construction project for Serbia. Located in the Surčin district, southwest of Belgrade, about 13.5 kilometers from the city center, the project will host the 2027 Belgrade Expo upon completion, with a daily visitor capacity of 43,000 people. The main structures of the project include the administrative building, exhibition halls, connecting corridors, and a green tower, with a total construction area of approximately 172,000 square meters.
Since the official signing, the project has quickly moved into the implementation phase. Despite challenges such as tight deadlines and heavy workloads, the Steelda team has faced the difficulties head-on, making every effort to advance the project’s early-stage preparations. From the preparation and approval of the PGD (Building Construction Permit) to the PZI (Detailed Construction Design), as well as the processing of residence permits and the construction of design and temporary facilities, these efforts have ultimately created favorable conditions for the project to transition to the next phase.
